Many UW Colleges students are receiving their degrees and looking forward to the next step in their college career. Every year, thousands of our students choose to transfer to a four-year university to pursue their dream of earning a bachelor’s degree.

Students can take advantage of the Guaranteed Transfer Program to ensure their hard work carries over to a UW System school of their choice. The education they receive as UW Colleges students serves them well, as those who transfer to a UW institution have the highest completion rate of any transfer students in the state.

Our students have their pick of world-class universities after they complete their education with us, and these are the most popular transfer destinations:

5. University of Wisconsin-Madison

Hundreds of UW Colleges students from every school including UW-Baraboo/Sauk County and UW-Richland take their next step by attending the state’s flagship university in Madison. UW-Madison is one of the top research universities in the country, enrolls tens of thousands of students every year and is regularly in the Top 10 in producing Fortune 500 CEOs.
