UW Colleges submission guidelines for the Applied Research Grants and Conference and Professional Development Grants follow.
- The procedures to obtain UW Colleges institutional approval to submit a grant proposal are available at Submitting a grant.
- You must submit the application to Associate Vice Chancellor Lisa Seale and Professional Development Coordinator Rex Hieser.
- Seale will facilitate the administrative review of the grant and work with the grant writer on any needed changes.
- Hieser will provide feedback on the grant proposal's style and presentation.
- The due date for internal submission is two weeks before the UW System deadline to allow for internal UW Colleges review.
Institutional Change Grants are limited to two per institution. Based on institutional priorities, the UW Colleges Office of Academic Affairs created two categories for UW Colleges ICG proposals, Directed Theme and General Theme, and is working through campus deans and department chairs for proposal development.
