The Audit-C is a quick and easy screening tool that is used to identify individuals who are high-risk drinkers or who may have an alcohol use disorder. Research has shown that using the AUDIT-C with college students is an effective way to quickly screen students to indicate whether or not referral for further intervention is warranted. (86% of men and 84% of women with alcohol use disorders will be identified when using the AUDIT-C.)
