There are some terrific sites that explain about potential careers in Psychology. Here are just a few:
- Careers in Psychology (Published by the American Psychological Association)
This is a six-page site created by the American Psychological Association. It starts by explaining "What Psychology Is," and then goes on to explain different areas in detail and discuss the qualifications required for each of the different career paths.
- Psychology Career Guide (Published by Psychology Career Center)
This interactive site provides an online guide to different types careers within the field, the different degrees that are available or required, and it also has a good career resource section.
- Pursuing Psychology Career Page (Created and maintained by Linda Walsh at the University of Northern Iowa)
This site provides links to a variety of online resources that can be helpful for someone who wants to pursue a career in psychology.
