Thank you for downloading UW Colleges/UW extension's web-based Symantec Antivirus Client Install for Students, Staff, and Faculty. Support is available for this product by calling the helpdesk at 888-893-9892 or by sending an e-mail to servicecenter@uwex.uwc.edu. Please be advised that, while the antivirus client installation and general use is supported, general home desktop support is not provided.

License: Only current Staff, Students, and Faculty are authorized to download Symantec Antivirus for home use.
NOTE: Emeritus faculty and staff are NOT licensed for this software!. Emeritus faculty and staff should contact the DoIT Techstore for assistance in purchasing reduced-price software.
NOTE: Once you leave the UW Colleges or UW Extension you MUST uninstall the Symantec Antivirus client. Failure to do so is a breach of the license agreement and your copy of the software will be unsupported by Symantec and the UW Colleges/UW Extension helpdesk.

A). Symantec Endpoint Protection for Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista 32-Bit Users:

Instructions: Click on the Manual link above and SAVE the file to your local hard disk and run the executable.
Setup will begin automatically. When the progress bar disappears your installation is complete and requires a computer restart/reboot.
