Part-Time Business Lecturer for Spring 2012
UW-Baraboo/Sauk County
The University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County and the University of Wisconsin Colleges Business and Economics Department invite applications for a part-time instructor (rank of Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer depending on educational background and experience) for Spring 2012. The UW-Baraboo/Sauk County campus is one of 13 campuses that comprise the UW Colleges (www.uwc.edu), a freshman-sophomore transfer institution within the UW System. The UW Colleges offer an excellent liberal arts and pre-professional education for students beginning work toward a bachelor’s degree. UW-Baraboo/Sauk County (www.baraboo.uwc.edu) is about 45 miles north of Madison on Highway 12 in Sauk County.

Teach one lecture section of BUS 110
BUS 110 Personal Finance - 3 credits
A study of personal financial management. Examines the financial problems and consequent financial decisions required of individuals in our economy. Subjects covered are applications in family budgeting, consumer buying decisions, borrowing, insurance, personal real estate, income taxation, investments, and estate planning. AP.
Lecture meets: Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 to 9:15 a.m.
Qualifications
Candidate should have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Business and a CPA, CMA, CFP, or equivalent degree is required. Teaching experience at the University level is strongly desired.
Starting Date
Contract starts on January 10, 2012 and classes begin on January 23, 2012.
