The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County invites applications for part-time lecturers in organic chemistry for courses in Spring 2010.

Qualifications

Masters in Chemistry or related field required, with PhD/ABD preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with successful college teaching experience. Preference may be given to candidates qualified to teach other courses offered by the department via distance education.

Responsibilities

Attend orientation activities, teach courses and hold appropriate office hours for students.

Starting Date

January 10, 2010.  Classes begin January 25, 2010.

Course Descriptions

CHE 361 -1 credit - The second semester of a year-long course in organic chemistry laboratory.

CHE 363 -3 credits-Continuation of Organic Chemistry I (CHE 343). Three hours of lecture per week.
