Resources

UW Colleges Libraries, have many resources to help you with all of your research needs.

  • Research Guides - are help pages designed by librarians to assist you with a particular class assignment or to provide more information about a campus group, special event, or important news topic.
  • Books / Media - Our new Search@ UW discovery resource allows you to search millions of book, videos, cds, archives, etc of the 26 UW libraries as well as the Wisconsin State Historical Society.  Also, includes the many of the major article database indexes the are available to UW Colleges users.  To request an item from another school just log in with your username and password (same as you use for logining into email) and click request this item. Then pick UW Colleges and your home library and within a few days the item will be available for pickup.
  • Course Reserves - this allows you to search by instructor name, or class for items on reserve.
  • Databases A to Z - here is a list of article databases and helpful websites that the library subscribes to. 
  • Grants and Funding - this page provides links to helpful resources for grant seekers and also links to the UW Colleges Grants Office.
  • OCLC Worldcat Campus accounts - this page provides links to all the campus OCLC Worldcat Campus accounts.
